With support from the Department of Energy, Spark Clean Energy and its partners have created a program to support young innovators in the clean energy entrepreneurship space and provide them access to world-renowned expertise in this area. Taking a blended learning approach, the program prepares participants for a capstone business plan competition via participation in an Open edX course and local student cohorts that meet in person during the course. This submission will describe this novel program in detail and explore the role a MOOC can play as part of a larger educational experience.
